LDP Application Process

The application process for the Leadership Development Program is two-fold.

  1. You must submit a completed application form.
  2. You must submit a completed signature form. You must have your Departmental Chair/Director of your School/Program Director/Divisional or Site or Unit Director/Supervisor signature endorsing your candidature.

Only those applications with all criteria completed will be submitted for final review.

Phase One of the application process:

Please fill in the application form, giving careful thought to your responses. For your convenience the PDF icon Signature Form - LDP 2024 can be downloaded, completed and emailed as a fillable PDF

Deadline:

The firm deadline for applying is February 16, 2024.

Cost:

There is no charge for this program!

Deposit:

A FOAPAL # or a personal cheque (postdated April 8th, 2024) is required as a deposit. A charge of $350 will be applied only if the applicant fails to withdraw from the program before the cancellation deadline of April 8th, 2024.聽 If you are providing a FOAPAL please make sure that a cancelation fee can be charged to the fund and if not, please send a personal cheque instead.

Cancellation:

Only EMAIL cancellations received by the Faculty Development Office (facdev.med [at] mcgill.ca) before the deadline of April 8, 2024聽will be processed without penalty. Any cancellation request received after this date will be subject to the fee of 350$.

Attendance:

It is mandatory that all applicants attend the full 3.5-day program. Please do not apply if you are unable to attend the full program.

Phase Two of the application process:

Once all of these criteria have been met, your application will move on to the review process. All candidates will be contacted to confirm their participation in the program.
