The Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital (The Neuro) is recognized worldwide for its research and clinical expertise in Parkinson’s disease (PD). PD is a motor neuron disease that is generally associated with old age, but people can also develop it in their thirties and forties.

The Neuro – A Major Force in Parkinson’s Disease Research and Treatment

For many years, the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital (The Neuro) and the Research Institute of the ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Health Centre have conducted studies that have led to a greater understanding of the nature of Parkinson’s disease (PD).
