Research Interests

My research program, OncoDENTier, focuses on prosthodontic rehabilitation in oral oncology, with a particular emphasis on its impact on functional recovery, return to work, and social reintegration among patients treated for oral and maxillofacial cancers. My work aims to reduce the physical and psychosocial burden of oral cancer and improve patient-centered outcomes. To support this objective, I conduct comparative effectiveness studies using real-world data and pragmatic trials to evaluate rehabilitation strategies, while also investigating factors influencing care pathways, including smoking and alcohol cessation, access to psychosocial support, and broader links between oral and systemic health.
