Welcome to the Behaviour, Autism, and NeuroDevelopment (BAND) research group website!

The BAND research group is headed by Dr. Eve-Marie Quintin and currently consists of six graduate students and several undergraduate research assistants. We are based out of the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at 成人VR视频.

Our research interests lie in elucidating the trajectories of cognitive, socioemotional, and brain development throughout childhood and adolescence by specifically focusing on music perception and cognition. We听investigate typical development and听neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and fragile X syndrome. Our research听employs a combination of cognitive-behavioural, educational interventions, and neuroimaging methods as well as cross-sectional and longitudinal research designs. In conducting such research, our goal is to听improve education programs, community and family services, diagnostic procedures听as well as mental health care for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. Our research projects and the students in our research group are funded by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), Fonds de Recherche Soci茅t茅 et Culture Qu茅bec (FRQSC), Fonds de Recherche听Sant茅听Qu茅bec (FRQSC), Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Organization for Autism听Research (OAR), and the GRAMMY Foundation.

On our website, you will find information regarding our ongoing research projects as well as members of the BAND research group. Should you require more information about our research or would like to participate in any of our projects, please contact us at research.band [at] mcgill.ca.听
