Minors for Non-Management Students

The Desautels Faculty of Management has introduced four minors that allow undergraduates to develop a variety of managerial skills that will serve them throughout their chosen careers. The minors have limited enrolment. Applicants for the minors must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 although successful completion of the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance. All minors are 18 credits split between a fixed set of required courses and a choice amongst complementary courses. Students can only pursue one of the minors offered by the Desautels Faculty of Management. On an exceptional basis, students may be permitted a maximum of one Continuing Studies course for credit within their chosen Management minor. All minors for non-Management students require an application. The form may be found at www.mcgill.ca/desautels/bcom/prospective_students/minors; hard copies of application forms are also available in the BCom Student Affairs Office, Bronfman 110. Applications must be submitted to the BCom Student Affairs Office by January 30 and decisions will be made by February 15, whereby students will be informed via their ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ email addresses. Courses for minors must be passed with grades of C or better. Courses for minors cannot be taken under the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory option.
