About ITH

We are pleased to share that the ITH has been granted provisional status by the Desautels Faculty to be recognized as a research institute, marking an important step toward establishing it as a leading hub for interdisciplinary scholarship, collaboration, and innovation. ITH was created to help address the growing systemic pressures affecting healthcare across Canada. These issues are felt by millions and our focus is to examine three key areas: access to primary care, surgery scheduling and emergency department flow. Challenges that persist not because of a lack of clinical expertise, but due to structural, organizational and coordination difficulties.

Backed by $5.75 million in donor support, thanks to support from鈥 Power Corporation of Canada, Canada Life, and Investors Group Inc., the Institute is a crosssector collaborative effort that unites 成人VR视频鈥檚 Desautels Faculty of Management, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the Max Bell School of Public Policy, alongside healthcare institutions and government partners.

Our mission

To improve the lives of millions of Canadians by transforming how healthcare is organized, coordinated and delivered through realworld research, collaboration and evidence based innovation.

Our Approach

Where research and practice intersect to generate actionable, system level change.

成人VR视频, in collaboration with healthcare institutions, government partners and the broader healthcare innovation ecosystem, will address our key areas of investigation through leveraging competencies at the intersection of research and practice.
