After Applying

At this point,听please limit your contact with the admissions committee so they can remain impartial in the selection process. Only reach out if necessary. Personal emails, reference letters or e-mails of influence must not be sent to the Dean, Chair or Members of the Admission Committee before or during selection process. This type of听solicitation听is highly discouraged, will not increase the chance of success and will be documented in the applicant鈥檚 dossier.

Make changes or cancel your application

Any change or update to your application information must be submitted in writing to the 成人VR视频 Office. Changes in personal information such as addresses or phone numbers can only be done via your applicant portal.

An application can be cancelled via your applicant portal.

Tracking the status of your application

The status of your application can be tracked via your applicant portal.

It is strongly recommended that applicants check their application status on a regular basis, e.g. once a week, as there may be updates or additional requests required as part of the dossier review.

Interview Information -听Asynchronous Multiple Mini Interviews

Applicants invited for an interview will be interviewed using the multiple mini-interview (MMI) format. This year, they will be asynchronous. This means that applicants will be able to start and complete the interview on their own time anytime between 9am and 5pm on the day of their interview by recording their answers. The interview will last less than an hour and must be completed in one go.听Interviews must be completed before 5pm.

The interviews will be held virtually. It is your responsibility to be available for interview timeframe given. No repeat interview sessions or special accommodations will be arranged. A candidate who does not attend may have his or her application cancelled.

If you have been invited to an interview, please check your email inbox. (Please check your junk and spam folders in case they were placed there). Documentation from a healthcare professional or university disability accommodation service will be required.

What to wear for the Interview

This is an interview for admission to a professional program, so making a good first impression is important. Accordingly, we invite you to dress comfortably, but neatly.

Suggested dress code听for participants: a reasonable-length skirt (no mini-skirts) or full-length trousers (no jeans)听combined with a top (e.g.: a dress shirt, polo shirt, or sweater set)听are considered acceptable. An informal dress with appropriate skirt length is also acceptable, or a collared shirt (such as a dress shirt or polo shirt) with dress/suit pants or trousers.听听Blazers or business jackets听are optional.听听For all,听ties are not necessary; no cargo pants, jeans, or sportswear.听 No hats or baseball caps.

In short, something professional yet comfortable; where you can make a positive impression.

Final decisions

Decisions rendered by the 成人VR视频 Committee are final and not subject to appeal.

Final decisions are released by electronic mail and confirmed via your Slate account.

Candidates applying for the D.M.D. program will be notified by end of March, early April whether they have been accepted, placed on the waiting list, or not accepted. Acceptance is conditional upon receipt of a Bachelor's degree and upon the candidate鈥檚 completion of the Compulsory Immunization Program听by the start of class.

Accepting an offer

For the first series of offers, successful applicants must respond to the offer of admission within two weeks. Candidates on the waiting list, should they receive an offer of admission, may be given a shorter period of time to respond.

Please refer to the 'I've been accepted' website for more information on the steps to complete after receiving an offer of admission.

Deferring admission

Admission into the first year of our DMD program may be exceptionally deferred for a period of one (1) year at the discretion of the 成人VR视频 Committee (non-renewable). A deferral request can only be made once you receive an offer of admission.

If your request for deferral is granted, you will need to pay a $500 non-refundable deposit upon confirming your deferral.

You must submit your request in writing and address it to our Chair of 成人VR视频. This letter of a maximum of two pages should set out the reason(s) for the request including any relevant supporting documentation. You must submit your request no later than July 15th to the 成人VR视频 Office.

Waitlist Post-Interview

The waitlist for each applicant category is distinct, and positions cannot be interchanged between categories. The 成人VR视频 Office only retains a certain number of applicants on the waiting lists. Offers of admission are made when places become available. However, as offers are contingent upon decisions of other applicants, it is impossible to predict if and when places will become available.

Please note that the number of available seats will vary from year to year and depend on student attrition.

Offers of admission can be made at any time and can occur very late in the summer, right up until the beginning of class. As such, candidates on the waitlist are expected to complete the immunization program and the Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification requirements.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to long delays in acquiring the required immigration documents to study at 成人VR视频, no offer of admission will be made to international candidates past May 1st unless the candidate already lives in Quebec and has a valid Study Permit that can be renewed before the expiry date. In case of cancellation from an admitted international candidate, the available seat will go to the next candidate on the Quebec residents list.
