Stroke Pre­ven­tion

STROKE (CEREBROVASCULAR ACCI­DENT): Caused by a lack of blood to the brain, result­ing in the sud­den loss of speech, lan­guage, or the abil­ity to move a body part, and, if severe enough, death. Also known as a cere­brovas­cu­lar acci­dent (CV).
