If a Research Unit receives negative feedback from CORU in an annual review, a formal warning may be issued with recommendations for improvement. If, following a subsequent annual review, the Research Unit continues to fall short of recommendations, CORU may submit a formal recommendation for termination to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The final decision regarding the Research Unit termination rests with the Dean. The recommendation of CORU may be based on any of the criteria assessed by the Committee.
