Pride Events in Local Religious Communities
Saturday July 18, 7:30 PM:聽 Pride Havdallah at Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom (4100 Sherbrooke St. W.): Join in for an evening of connection and community sponsored by Temple's LGBTQ+ community and Ga鈥檃va. All are welcome. The evening begins at 7:30 PM and concludes with a Havdalah ceremony at 9:30 PM, marking the end of Shabbat together in community. Light refreshments will be offered, and guests are welcome to bring their own beverages. 聽in advance.
Sunday August 2, 4:00 PM: Pride Service at Christ Church Cathedral (635 St. Catherine St. W.):聽Celebrate Pride at Christ Church Cathedral! This vibrant celebration will include music, readings, prayers, and a sermon. We have a special guest choir, Ganym猫de, who will sing during the service.聽All are welcome to join us regardless of whether you are a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally, regardless of whether you are a Christian or just curious about churches celebrating Pride.
