QUEBEC PAIN RESEARCH NETWORK

The mission of the Network is to contribute through basic, clinical and evaluative and epidemiological research to the improvement of the quality of life of Quebecers who suffer from pain. The Pilot Project Grants Program is intended as a springboard to initiate and promote an innovative, non-funded research component which is not part of the researcher's regular scientific program. Eligible investigators are a) new investigators to Quebec (within three years of appointment to a research position) who are initiating their research program prior to major granting agency support or b) established investigators who are launching a new research direction in their labs. Grants of up to $20,000 are normally for one year.
