2025-26 Canada Award

成人VR视频 is pleased to offer the 2025-26 version of the Canada Award for newly admitted Canadian non-resident of Quebec (CNRQ) undergraduate degree seeking students who meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Admitted and enrolled in Fall 2025 and/or Winter 2026;
  • Canadian citizens or permanent residents, but who do not qualify for the tuition rate for Quebec residents;
  • In a program of study in eligible Faculties or Schools. These include: Agriculture & Environmental Science, Architecture, Arts, Arts & Science, Education, Music, Nursing, and Science
  • Receive an offer of a 成人VR视频 entrance scholarship (based on academic merit) or 成人VR视频 entrance bursary (based on financial need).

The Scholarships & Student Aid Office will inform by entrance scholarship and/or entrance bursary offer letter, if a student is expected to qualify for the Canada Award based on who has self-declared Canadian citizenship.

Canada Award will be automatically granted聽for one year only to eligible Canadian students assessed at the Canadian, non-Quebec tuition rate. Students eligible for the 2025-26 Canada Award will receive a maximum of $3000, disbursed as $1500 in the Fall 2025 semester and $1500 in the Winter 2026, provided they are registered in a minimum of 12 credits in each term, or who study part-time due to a recognized disability and are registered with Student Accessibility and Achievement in enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits in each term.

Eligible for the 2025-26 Canada Award:

  • Undergraduate degree-seeking students in full-time studies who are admitted and enrolled in the Fall 2025 or Winter 2026, registered in eligible Faculties or Schools. These include: Agriculture & Environmental Science, Architecture, Arts, Arts & Science, Education, Music, Nursing, and Science AND in receipt of a (one-time or major renewable) Entrance Scholarship, or an Entrance Bursary.
  • Undergraduate degree-seeking students in part-time studies who are admitted and enrolled as of Fall 2025 or Winter 2026, registered in an eligible program, with a recognition from Student Achievement and Accessibility to be deemed full-time status while enrolled part-time (minimum 6 credits/semester) due to disability accommodation.
  • Notes on eligibility:
    • Students are eligible as of the term in which they prove Canadian legal status. For example: A student who is considered international in the Fall 2025 term, and who then proves Canadian status in Winter 2026 would only be eligible for $1500 of the Canada Award as of Winter 2026.     • Students are no longer eligible as of the term in which they establish Quebec residency. For example: A Canadian who establishes their Quebec residency as of the Winter term will only be eligible for $1500 of the Canada award in the Fall 2025 term. Refer to the Legal Documents website.
    • Full-time status is defined as being registered and billed for 12 credits or more. Students who drop to under 12 credits due to a withdrawal with refund are considered part-time.
    • Students in receipt of an entrance scholarship and an entrance bursary will only receive one Canada Award.

Students who defer admissions

Students who defer their admission to the University for one year will be subject to the tuition rates that are in effect for the term in which they are starting and not the term in which they were originally admitted and will not be eligible for 2025-26 Canada Award consideration.

Students who are admitted in Winter 2026, or who are admitted in Fall 2025 but receive permission to defer their admission to the University until Winter 2026, will be eligible to receive $1500 on January 22, 2026 if they meet all other eligibility requirements.

Not eligible for the 2025-26 Canada Award:

  • Students who are not in receipt of an entrance scholarship or an entrance bursary at the time of Fall 2025 or Winter 2026 admission.
  • Certificate and Diploma seeking students; Graduate program students; Visiting and Special students; students in a qualifying year.
  • Undergraduate degree-seeking students in full-time studies who are admitted and enrolled as of Fall 2025 or Winter 2026, originally enrolled in an eligible program who subsequently transfer into an ineligible program. Students are no longer eligible as of the transfer term.
  • Part-time students i.e. under 12 credits in a term (unless registered with Student Achievement and Accessibility to be deemed full-time status while enrolled part-time at a minimum 6 credits/semester due to disability accommodation).
  • Students with dual Canadian & French or Belgian (Wallonie) citizenship are eligible to pay the lower Canadian tuition fees and are therefore not eligible for the Canada Award. Disbursement of the 2025-26 Canada Award

Students eligible for the 2025-26 Canada Award will receive a maximum of $3000, disbursed as $1500 in the Fall 2025 semester on September 22nd and $1500 in the Winter 2026 on January 22nd, provided they are registered in a minimum of 12 credits in each term, or who study part-time due to a recognized disability and are registered with Student Accessibility and Achievement in enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits in each term.

The 2025-26 Canada Award is not deferable to subsequent semesters.
