Roxanne Guyon, PhD in sexology, is a professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at Universit茅 Laval. Her research interests focus on traumatic intimate and sexual experiences and violence in a relational context with both adolescents and adults, including the deployment of awareness campaigns and the adaptation of services to the needs of victimized individuals. Her most recent work focuses on understanding gender-based and sexual violence in schools, particularly sexist and misogynistic behavior among high school students.
Roxanne began her collaboration with the CRCF at the beginning of her PhD, while working part-time as an educator for the Montreal youth centers. She did her research internship on the project 芦听Implantation du mod猫le " Attachement, R茅gulation, et Comp茅tences " dans des unit茅s de r茅adaptation de cinq Centres jeunesses du Qu茅bec : 脡valuation pilote听禄 under the supervision of Delphine Collin-V茅zina. Afterwards, she continued to work on several projects of the center as a research assistant to become an associate member to date.
