PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Over the next 26 months, MCDC proposes to work in close partnership with a number of partners (nine public health institutions, one school board and employment-related community groups) to foster an environment suitable to promote internships in the health and social services sectors and youth retention in the regions of Chaudière-Appalaches and Arthabaska-Érable. Our proposal includes promotional activities with schools (meetings with health professionals, developing promotional tools, open house activities), active participation in various regional committees and initiatives related to employment, activities to facilitate interns’ social integration, collaboration with public health partners to facilitate intern recruitment and promotion and management of the scholarship program.
