To update this project, the CSSS du Lac-des-Deux Montagnes relies on the collaboration of the 4 Korners Family Resource Center community network, specifically to promote internships, and of the Sir Wilfrid-Laurier School Board.
CLIENTELE
The clientele targeted by this project consists mainly of students, professors, career counsellors and internship supervisors from English-speaking educational institutions, namely: schools of the Sir Wilfrid-Laurier, Lester-B.-Pearson and Riverside School Boards, John Abbott College, Vanier College, Dawson College, 成人VR视频 and Concordia University.
DESCRIPTION
Through the A Bridge to Hiring program, the CSSS du Lac-des-Deux-Montagnes aims to develop relationships with English-language educational institutions in order to promote itself, its installations and the work environment with their students with the view, ultimately, of hiring technicians and professionals who are able to communicate in English and French. To meet this objective:
The CSSS du Lac-des-Deux-Montagnes plans to participate in job fairs organized by English-language educational institutions and to create promotional tools (posters, brochures) for their students. A section of the CSSS website will also be redesigned for this audience. The targeted jobs are special education teachers, occupational therapists, nurses, nursing assistants, respiratory therapists, physiotherapists, client care attendants, laboratory technicians and social workers. The project鈥檚 ultimate objective is to hire ten new graduates from the targeted educational institutions who can communicate in English and French.

ACTIVITIES COMPLETED
The CSSS du Lac-des-Deux-Montagnes essentially concentrated its efforts on promoting healthcare professions in English-speaking environments. In this regard, the institution participated in three 成人VR视频 career fairs in physical and occupational therapy, nursing and social work. The CSSS also participated in the Dawson College career fair. After these activities, 13 resumes were collected, two day long internships were completed and the institution received twenty requests to participate in a job-shadow program. A promotional poster and a pamphlet聽were produced and distributed in five educational institutions. The CSSS also distributed promotional items as part of its project, such as pens and stress balls. Finally, the was revamped to include a section specifically geared towards students from English-speaking institutions.

CLIENTELE
The CSSS Th茅r猫se-de-Blainville project targets university-level students in nutrition and social services.
DESCRIPTION
The CSSS Th茅r猫se-de-Blainville鈥檚 clientele includes 5.1% English-speakers. As a 鈥渞ecommended鈥� institution, the CSSS has, as part of the A Bridge to Hiring program, the objective of creating new internships to better meet the needs of this portion of the clientele. To meet this objective:
The CSSS Th茅r猫se-de-Blainville plans to create three new internships in two clinical departments, specifically, two social work internships, including one in the Direction des services 脿 la jeunesse (DSJ) [Youth Services Department (YSD)] and the other in the Direction des services aux adultes et des services g茅n茅raux (DSASG) [Adult and General Services Department (AGSD)] as well as an internship in nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits at the AGSD. To promote the integration of new interns, the institution planned a visit of various living environments on its territory. To support supervisors, two meetings are planned for them with the psychosocial clinical development advisor. 聽Finally, to support interns, the CSSS Th茅r猫se-de-Blainville is planning skills-building sessions in community approaches and clientele group leadership.

ACTIVITIES COMPLETED
In 2012, as part of its work plan, the CSSS de Th茅r猫se-De Blainville welcomed three university-level interns: two in social work from 成人VR视频 and the Universit茅 du Qu茅bec en Outaouais, and one nutrition intern from 成人VR视频, for a total of 120 internship days. Various measures were planned to support supervisors such as having the project manager help welcome and integrate interns and having the person in charge of providing a framework for the field assist in coaching. The three professionals in charge of supervising the three interns also received clinical supervision training and release time. Three intern training sessions had been planned: in community approach, group facilitation and record keeping. Interns also attended one of the conferences given by Sonia Lupien, scientific director of the research centre at the Institut universitaire en sant茅 mentale de Montr茅al, and participated in visits to partners and health promotion activities.
