Priority Objectives
The priority objectives of this training relate to improve the capability of the health centre to provide routine services in English, including delivery of public health and social services at the English-language school in Chibougamau, which has more than 176 children and adolescents, from kindergarten through high school.
English-language skills are evaluated before and after our personnel are trained by the Institut M茅dialangues.

Training Organization
Description of Planned Activities
Placement testing, telephone tutoring, immersion training, distance training, training evaluation, training certification, learning support outside of course times.
Maintenance of acquired skills and development activities.
Target personnel are expected to practise using English in the course of their normal activities.
Additionally, the Centre r茅gional de sant茅 et de services sociaux de la Baie-James provides our directorate with a recurring annual budget of $10,000 for training and document translation.
