Additional Subsidies

Have you hired a student in the Faculties of Arts or Science? You may qualify to receive an additional subsidy!

• Arts Undergraduate Society subsidy:Ìý This funding contributes $5.00 of the student’s hourly wage (for a total combined subsidy of $10.00/hour).  Available for positions in the Faculty of Arts that are filled by Arts undergraduate students.  
• Science Undergraduate Society subsidy:Ìý This funding contributes $5.00 of the student’s hourly wage (for a total combined subsidy of $10.00/hour).  Available for positions in the Faculty of Science that are filled by Science undergraduate students. 

Get reimbursed: ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ-affiliated employers

To get reimbursed, ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ affiliated employers must submit the following no later than 30 days from the end of a Work Study term:Ìý

1. ´¡Ìýconsolidated report from your payroll system:ÌýMust include all your Work Study students, covering all payroll events per term.  The report should be broken down by student, in chronological order.  
2. ´¡ÌýWork Study Subsidy Reimbursement Request (Excel file only, no compressed files):ÌýMust include all Work Study students for all pay periods per term, in one file.  This spreadsheet must reconcile with your detailed payroll system report and be in the same chronological order.  

Reimbursement request deadlines (³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ-affiliated employers)

No reimbursements will be issued for hours worked outside of authorized dates.   

Reimbursements are only processed once all supporting documentation has been received by the Work Study team. 

Wage subsidies are graciously received from the following funding sources:Ìý 

University Budget, Ministère de l’Éducation, Arts Undergraduate Society (AUS) contributions to the Arts Students Employment Fund, Science Undergraduate Students (SUS) contributions to the ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Science 21st Century Career Centre Fund, ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Alumni Association (Alma Mater Fund).
